Iconic Actor Shashi Kapoor Demises At 79


Theatre veteran and cinema legend Shashi Kapoor passed away at the age of 79. He was struggling with the health problem for a long time. While yesterday he admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai, due to the infection in the chest. Where he witnessed the last breath.
Shashi Kapoor had worked over 175 movies both in Bollywood and Hollywood arena. Shashi Kapoor was the youngest son of late Prithviraj Kapoor, and brother of cinema legend Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor. His most memorable lead roles in the movie like Deewar, Namak Halal, Heeralal Pannalal, Kabhi Kabhie, Silsila etc.
During his theater activities, he met with Jennifer Kendal who was also actress and daughter of Geoffrey Kendal who owned a traveling theater company known as Shakespearana. Later he married Jennifer Kendal.
Shashi Kapoor was surviving with his two sons Kunal Kapoor and Karan Kapoor and her daughter Sanjana  Kapoor.  He was renowned for one of the most iconic dialogues ever of Deewar film “Mere Paas Maa hai (I have a mom).”
